I really like Google Reader

I just realized that it shows me when you guys update. Isn’t that peachy! I see I have 9 in there so I better get hopping. It’s sort of like our home page on spaces huh.

I’m feeling really bad for Bill. His leg and back are really bothering him and his MRI appoitment isn’t for 2 weeks yet. They haven’t set up therapy yet either like they said they were going too. I think that might help him once he gets into it. Maybe he should try a chiro.

I laughed so hard at Brody yesterday when I had him. I was in the living room and he was in the dining room playing with his toys when he came in and gave me a funny look. He then pulls down his trousers and starts to take off his diaper. I grabbed him up right away and it’s a darn good thing I did or I would have had quite the mess on the floor. Might be time to start potty training him don’t you think? He is only two and usually too young to potty train but it’s obvious he doesn’t like messy pants.

We have Dish Network and I was looking on their website and saw that they have a promotion price for a bit cheaper then what we are paying now. I decided to call them to see if we could get it at that price. The salesmen told me that it was just for new customers so I asked him why would a new customer get a better rate the one whose been with them for 6 years lol. Then he offered me movie channel packages like HBO and Show Time free for 3 months but I told him I don’t want them, I’ve had them before and don’t care for them and I’d prefer the cheaper rate. He then said that that’s all he could do for me so I politely asked to speak to a supervisor. I explained to him why I was calling and of course they put you on  hold so they can check your account. I must admit that I was on hold longer then I liked but I was determined and I’m sure they do that hoping you’ll get annoyed and hang up. WELL, they don’t know me very well do they lol. In the end I got the deal and am now a happy girl. Patience does pay off doesn’t it sometimes Smile

    That would make you move quickly to prevent potty time in the floor or carpet. He'll be easily trained I figure. Glad you got the good deal and yes you have to be persistent. Hoping that Bill's pain will leave.

    I'm really glad to see you're using and liking Google Reader. I use it for all kinds of things and wouldn't know what to do without it.

    Sorry that Bill has to wait so long for the MRI. That's just wrong!

    I'll remember that with Dish Network. We have Direct and could always accept a discount or something from them. That's another thing I'd have a hard time living without.

    I've never used Google Reader but I will certainly look into it.
    I have Time Warner cable (basic TV) for my TV and computer and I really like it. Especially since my wife works from home and her company pays for the computer part of it. lol. Plus, they perform any repairs for free and are constantly upgrading the cables and such. Again for free.

    I hope your hubby gets to feeling better very soon. I'm all too familiar with legs and backs... and feet!

    Well, keep an eye on Brody. Two year-olds are faster than they look!

    Your G-son Brody and my G-Daughter are very similarly age Millie's birthday is 23th Feb,she has been trained and pretty good these day.

    I hope Bill get the MRI quickly that I don't understand why he need to wait so long?

I haven't forgotten any of you. It's just that when I sit down to write a blog Brody will get into something and I have to get up to see what he's doing. I swear, I'm up and down a million times a day. I will say one thing, he is learning that no means no. Sometimes you have to be more stubborn then he is but sooner or later he realizes that I'm bigger and stronger then he is lol. That’s what our neighbors light over her garage was doing the other night. Bill looked out the window and told me Marilyn’s light is flashing on and off. Since I was still dressed and he was in his pj’s I said I would go over and check on her. We wondered of course if she was okay so I put my shoes on and went over there. I knocked on her door and started to open it when she came to the door and I asked her if she was alright. She had been crying but she was okay. It turns out that she had been watching a movie on television and she said she always cries at movies. I told her we wondered if everything was okay because her light on the garage kept flashing but it turns out that something was wrong with the light. She was thankful for me coming over to check on her but felt silly because I caught her crying lol. I told her I was just glad she was okay and that nothing was wrong. I do wonder if the light might have shorted out eventually though and maybe cause some problems there. It’

Rest in Peace Aunt Dot

My Aunt Dot passed away this morning. My cousin said she was with her and that she went peacefully to which we are thankful for. My cousins doctor made her go home last night and she called me worried that her mom might pass when she's not there and she said she'll feel so guilty if that happens. I told her that if her mom goes during the night it's because it's what she chose to do but that I really feel that she will wait for her, I'm so glad I was right. Micky took care of her mom for many years and I knew Aunt Dot wouldn't go without Micky being by her side. Let me tell you a llittle about Aunt Dot. She loved life. She loved playing Bingo, she loved the Packers and she loved to dance. She loved Hank Williams and she loved polka music. Whenever we were anywhere there was music and they played polka's she'd drag me out on the dance floor to dance with her. The Hot Shodish (sp) was her favorite dance and I was one of the few who could keep up with her
